Amidst a rebrand after reeling in the success of growing from a small-town family hospital to a 16 hospital network with over 7,000 staff members, Scott & White was in need of a website that coincided with the launch of a brand new children's hospital. The result —, which went on to win the eHealthcare Award for best website for a hospital under 200 beds. The hospital continues to have full beds and a growing reputation in Scott & White's 29,000 square-mile catchment area. In January 2012, the hospital received a 20 million dollar gift and was renamed McLane Children's Hospital at Scott & White.
